OverviewThis book is a collection of my never-before-published photographs that I took after my workday as a photographer's apprentice in nightclubs around New York City from 1978 to 1983, before AIDS hit and the party ended. Most of the photos are of people that I knew, many of them friends or work partners. I am a shy guy and didn't chase celebrities like a paparazzo. Although many of the photos were originally in color, I am publishing this book in B&W to keep the price lower. The photos are from Max's Kansas City, The Mudd College of Deviant Behavior, Studio 54, CBGBs, Area and many other joints that I don't remember being there, although the photos prove that I was. Not everybody will know everybody in this book, but everybody will know somebody.
