OverviewNutritional Deficiency in African Mahogany (Khaya ivorensis) is a doctoral thesis defended at the School of Agronomy of the Federal University of Goiás that aims to contribute to advances in the field of forestry and provide technical support to entrepreneurs who invest or wish to invest in forests cultivated with hardwoods. As a species of considerable economic interest, African Mahogany (Khaya ivorensis) has been widely used by Brazilian foresters, mainly because it has characteristics very similar to Brazilian Mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla), which is the most economically valuable wood in the world, given its quality and beauty. The authors would like to thank the owners of Viveiro Mudas Nobres, Canrobert Tormin and João Augusto da Silva, for their financial investments in scientific research and for contributing so effectively to the development of Brazilian forestry.
