Emiliano Arena è specialista in archeologia classica presso l'Università del Salento (Lecce), ha conseguito un dottorato e un post dottorato in Storia Antica presso l'Università di Messina, dove collabora fin dal 2002 con la cattedra di Storia greca (Dipartimento di Civiltà antiche e moderne). La sua ricerca si incentra su tematiche relative all'età micenea, alla storia greca di epoca arcaica ed ellenistica, all'epigrafia greca e alla Sicilia antica. Emiliano Arena has a PhD and a post-doctoral fellowship in Ancient History from the University of Messina. His research focuses on Mycenaean civilisation, Archaic and Hellenistic History, Greek Epigraphy and Ancient Sicily.
