Overview

Nuovarden is an earthpunk fantasy setting in a massive, evolving garden environment. Events occur 100 seasons after a major shift in the garden - called the Emergence - brought on by a rogue manifesting energy. Explorers do their best to try and harness this energy as they set out to discover new information, recover lost knowledge and technology, and learn about the ongoing changes in a living, dynamic landscape full of flora and fauna that is constantly evolving. There are no dwarves or elves here. Nuovarden is a dimension unto itself, populated by a variety of cultures each representing an aspect of the whole of existence, represented by one of eight disciplines - body, mind, lore, mystery, element, technology, silence, and song. Nuovarden is powered by the Fortunes d4 System - a unique, robust dice cache supported by a meta-currency, called Primacy, that players can call upon when the dice don't roll their way. But nothing is guaranteed in the new garden. Manifesting energy is everywhere, and it seems to have intentions of its own.
