Niebe’s research is focused on the application of numerical methods in physical simulation, in particular the use of complementarity problems when formulating the dynamics of rigid bod ies. Niebe obtained her Ph.D. in 2014, at the Department of Computer Science, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Dr. Erleben is Associate Professor at the department of Computer Science, University of Copen hagen. For more than a decade, Erleben has worked within the research field of physical sim ulations, during which he has taught several courses on rigid- and soft-body dynamics, game physics and numerical optimization, as well as co-authored the textbook Physics-Based Anima tion.
