Overview

A serial killer is prowling the streets of Johannesburg, and his victims are children. Ava and her team of FBI agents are dispatched to South Africa to eliminate this horrific threat. While on vacation, Ava and Kate are abruptly thrust back into a world of murder and bloodshed when they receive a gift-wrapped hand. Now, they must navigate the harsh realities of their mission, striving to identify and apprehend the murderer before more innocent lives are lost. Can they save the children they come to care for deeply, or will the killer's brutality spell the end for this beloved forensic psychologist?

Author Information

Writing has always formed part of her life, but Krizaan de Beer had never envisioned a reality of published work. This being her second book, her confidence has increased and with it she believes her ability to entice readers. Whilst still working full-time as a medical practitioner, she creates in her spare time. Her writing allows decompression and an escape from the daily routine. Despite not having any formal training in literature, she hopes her medical background and a degree in forensic psychology contributes to intriguing and unexpected storytelling.
