Overview

This is a software reference presenting an interactive history of nuclear medicine, descriptions of equipment, radiopharmaceuticals and radiation, and scan types. The user can explore clinical applications of nuclear medicine procedures via a series of 50 provocative case studies, presented by symptom complex. Case studies are outlined and a quiz allows the user to focus on key issues by testing their diagnosis for each case. The system requirements for Windows PCs: the minimum system configuration - a 486 Windows-compatible computer, at least 8MB of RAM, a double-speed CD-ROM drive, a 256-colour display or better, Windows 3.1 or higher; the recommended system configuration - Pentium with 32MB RAM, thousands of colours display, Windows 95 and quad-speed CD-ROM drive.
