Carlo Acutis, born in 1991, was a vibrant young man who fully embraced life through his interests in computers, soccer, video games, music, and filmmaking. Although he enjoyed spending time with friends and engaging in fun activities, what truly distinguished him was his deep spiritual devotion. Carlo lived his faith with sincerity, teaching catechism, helping at soup kitchens, and attending daily Mass and Eucharistic adoration. His profound love for the Eucharist inspired him to create a website documenting Eucharistic miracles, which later reached people worldwide. After his death from a sudden illness at age fifteen in 2006, his reputation for holiness spread rapidly. Pope Francis declared him venerable in 2018, and his beatification followed in 2020, placing him on the path to becoming the first millennial saint.
