Composer and pianist Zez Confrey (1895-1971) is best known for his jazz- and ragtime-infused works, Kitten on the Keys and Dizzy Fingers.Famed as the ""whirlwind pianist,"" Pauline Alpert (1900-88) composed 25 original tunes as well as her own arrangements of Broadway show tunes for piano rolls.Reuben ""Rube"" Bloom (1902-76) was a songwriter, pianist, arranger, band leader, recording artist, vocalist, and author of several books on piano method.
