Author Information

Mihaela Tănase-Dogaru is a Professor at the English Department of the University of Bucharest, Romania. She earned her PhD in 2007 from the University of Bucharest, with a thesis devoted to the syntax and semantics of noun phrases in English and Romanian. Alina Tigău is a Professor at the English Department of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures, University of Bucharest. She earned her PhD in 2010 from the University of Bucharest, with a thesis devoted to the syntax and semantics of the direct object in Romance and Germanic languages.Ioana Stoicescu is a Lecturer at the English Department of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures, University of Bucharest. She holds a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Bucharest. Her work has focused on the acquisition of tense and aspect in child Romanian, as well as scalar implicatures, and anaphora resolution.Ruxandra Drăgan is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at the University of Bucharest and a Fulbright scholar with a fellowship at the University of Connecticut, USA. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Bucharest in 2011. Her research focuses on the linguistic representation of change of location/state structures in English and Romanian.
