NOT YET 8 Poetry for Kids Ages Five & Up Not Yet 8 are poems for youngsters aged 5 & older, a step up from the poems for 2 - 5 year olds in our previous Before We Were 5. Each book aims to be fun for youngsters of the age, but also to help parents remember what it was like when they were young and pronouncing out each sing-song rhyme with a squeal and a giggle. That's what my silly words strive for, helped greatly by Frank Furlong's funny drawings. (His TV Animation work included Sesame Street ). Now retired, Frank and I are having great fun writing and drawing our books for young people. Not Yet 8 and the earlier books, Pop-Pop's Magic Chair, The Loch Lomond Monster and Before We Were 5 are all available on Apple Stores IBooks, in the ECatalogs of Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Ingram and other fine books stores, plus our own website, www.booksbyallmeans.com.
