Overview

This work is dedicated to the modern Georgian language and the influx of foreign words borrowed into it over the centuries. This is the result of many years of research, where you'll find new discoveries and interesting surprises, foreign words that you always thought were of Georgian origin. Some of these words are accompanied by detailed description of their origin and some of these descriptions show often misunderstood and distorted definitions. The fundamental idea of this research is to demonstrate that the complete uniqueness of spoken languages is rare. All but a few languages of the world have fairly strong connections with each other. Some etymologists believe that the Georgian language and the modern Georgian alphabet are unique entities, but according to my years-long research only the ""old Georgian"" could be regarded as relatively unique language.
