During the period of chemotherapy and surgery, Anne-Marie was pregnant with their second child. In this book, she describes the difficulties of her husband's cancer. Her story gives insight into what may happen to cancer patients and their families during and after the period of illness. Anne-Marie van Brenk (40) is married and a mother of two children aged 4 and 7 years. She works part-time as a dialysis nurse in Groningen. Anne-Marie started writing this book to bring order to the chaos in her head. From experience, she knew that it would help to get it all in a row. She has decided to publish the story because she hopes to be able to help other people with it.
