After the fruit of the spirit is explained, each one is examined separately with colorful and whimsical illustrations. In addition to the well known Galatians five verse where the fruit of the spirit is listed, each individual fruit is also connected to other scriptures found in the Bible. Emily also presents Paul's conversion story and how his life changed with the power of the Holy Spirit and using the fruit of the spirit! After learning about the fruit of the spirit, with reference to Paul's conversion story, readers are encouraged to share their new knowledge with their friends and others around them! There are several interactive elements and prompts to encourage children to look up scriptures for themselves in their own Bibles. There are even spaces to write in verses they find related to each fruit of the spirit.
