Author Information

A passionate writer with a love for poetry, M. E. Robinson is a debut novelist. Drawing inspiration from her traumatic past and upbringing, she transforms her pain into poetry, vulnerably highlighting her transition from a hurt child to a healed adult. She wrote this collection of poetry with the intent to inspire those who are on their own healing journey, hoping to shed light on the beauty that can come of it. When not writing, she dedicates her time to college -as a culinary student, connecting with fellow veterans, performing at open mic nights, reading, volunteering, and sending ""I'm cooking, are you coming to get a plate?"" texts to her closest friends and family...and they always say ""YES!"" Born in Toronto and guided by her Jamaican heritage, Stacey Marie Robinson is a communications specialist, entertainment enthusiast, and music lover. Her studies in communications brought her to Windsor, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan, where she trained as a journalist before returning home to Scarborough, where she currently resides. Stacey's creative content highlights contemporary Black Canadian life and Caribbean culture across the Diaspora; she has also produced several literary events and workshops for writers. Stacey enjoys playing the piano and guitar, attending music festivals and concerts, and providing support for DJs, Caribbean carnivals, and independent artists. Jameel Davis is a celebrated international award winning Cleveland author, international speaker, writer, and founder of ElevatedWaves Publishing Corporation, the only Black-owned publishing company in Cleveland, Ohio. He serves his community as a Law Enforcement Supervisor and Crisis Intervention Specialist with the Cuyahoga County Sheriff Department.Born and raised in poverty-dominated communities of Cleveland, Davis brings a wealth of first-hand experiences to his work, inspiring readers and audiences with messages of grit, determination, sacrifice, resiliency, motivation, and success. He is dedicated to promoting kindness, understanding, and hope to disadvantaged children and adults alike.A prolific author, his published works include ""How Success Became My Focus,"" ""Cultivating Minds To Own Thyself,"" ""In Between These Sheets,"" ""Completely Naked,"" and ""SEX-Esteem."" He is known for his motivational talks, inspiring poetry, and educational seminars on topics ranging from social and emotional learning to book publishing, family, dating, and relationships. Davis's commitment to empowering others and sharing his story has led him to make author and speaking appearances across the country and internationally.
