Paige Clough worked as a floral designer before a chance encounter with miniature horses changed her path. She began training miniature horses for local and world level competition, teaching riding lessons and horsemanship to children and adults, and visiting schools and churches with her herd of minis. She opened the Paloma Trails stables in Katy, Texas, to provide riding and carriage driving lessons, boarding minis, and other educational opportunities for children. As she observed improvements in the behavior and moods of many of her special needs students and saw the deep connection they had with the minis, she began training to become a Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor and began working for SIRE, a non-profit Therapeutic Equestrian Center. With Nosey Rosey Paige draws upon her experience and expertise with the miniature horse world to write an engaging and entertaining story for young children ages 5 to 10. Certain to be an enduringly popular addition to family, school and community library Pets/Wildlife collections, Nosey Rosey is thoroughly kid friendly: Paige Clough worked as a floral designer before a chance encounter with miniature horses changed her path.
