Author Information

Jarlath Cunnane is a retired construction manager whose heart has always been 'at sea'. He built his first boat in the kitchen of his partly-build first house. The boats increased in size with the years. His seafaring ventures include an Atlantic crossing in 1986 and the 1997 South Aris expedition to replicate Shackleton's famous boat journey. A recipient of many awards, his most recent was the prestigious Blue Water Medal from the Cruising Club of America.
