Her other books include Moving Hatteras: Relocating the Cape Hatteras Light Stations to Safety and Cape Hatteras: America's Lighthouse. Bruce Roberts is a nationally acclaimed photographer served as the first director of photography for Southern Living. His lighthouse photographs have appeared in hundreds of books and magazines. In 1994, the couple founded the Outer Banks Lighthouse Society and both have been awarded the ""Kepper of the Light"" award from the American Lighthouse Foundation.
