Overview

The Barn Cat Buttons Series opens the door for a cat with an attitude, and the other ranch animals he encounters, to take a gentle look at life's lesson at a child's level. Children resonate with the animal characters while they learn about right and wrong, friendship, and consequences. The stories in this series can be used as an educational teaching tool, offering adults an opportunity to answer questions and describe similar parallels that people may come across in life. The illustrations bring the characters alive to journey across the pages to keep young and old interested in what will happen next.

Author Information

Ann Edall-Robson grew up in ranching country. Keeping the fast disappearing Western heritage, traditions, and stories alive is her passion; and is evident in her creative pursuits. Living near the foothills of Alberta, nature and the customs of the West continue to both influence and inspire her writing and photography. Her published works encompass a selection of books the whole family can enjoy. Karon Argue is known primarily now as an illustrator of children's books, but unlike many artists who draw simple images for children's books, her work although light and whimsical, is also highly detailed. Karon says that's become a bit of a trademark. KJ Designs - KaronArgue.com Editing by Cartwright
