Kimberly Franzen Elder grew up in Sunapee NH, the oldest of 5 children. Her father was a sea captain traveling the world, and her mother was able to be a fulltime homemaker, which allowed for Kimberly and her siblings the opportunities to explore different interests and sports. Kimberly is divorced and has 4 children and 2 grandchildren and now resides in Layton, Utah. She enjoys writing children's books, traveling and spending time with her family.
