Overview

The first school dance of the year has finally arrived, but Noodle might have to miss it. After discovering that her science teacher might actually be a shapeshifting reptilian alien, Noodle's parents insist she needs therapy. Noodle, however, believes she's the one who needs to save the entire school from being abducted into the hollow moon. Cheesy Chad, who also believes aliens are set to take over Oak Grove Middle School, asks Noodle to be his date to the seventies-themed dance. When Noodle's parents tell her she has to see the therapist if she wants to go to the dance, Noodle begrudgingly agrees. Once Noodle gets to the dance, she faces an unexpected surprise that leads to a distressing decision that could change her life forever. Will Noodle and Cheesy team up to overcome the threat of aliens and save their school? Or will Noodle choose to save the school on her own?
