Overview

The book gathers review papers in emergent engineering applications and new horizons in nonlinear dynamics, and originates from DYCAELS 2023, the IV Conference on Dynamics, Control and Applications to Applied Engineering and Life Science, which was held in Ponta Grossa, Brazil, on November 6-11, 2023. José Manoel Balthazar is visiting full Professor at Federal University of Technology – PR, Ponta Grossa, Brazil, and Senior Professor at São Paulo State University (UNESP, Engineering School, Bauru, SP and full member of ACIESP (Academia de Ciências do Estado de São Paulo). His research interests focus on nonlinear systems and phenomena, nonlinear dynamics, chaos and control, electromechanical Systems (in MACRO, MEMS and NEMS scales) and non-ideal vibrations.
