Sara has a Master's Degree in Public Policy and worked for the federal government and has traveled all over the world before settling down to start a family. Sara is a working mom with an entrepreneurial spirit. The idea of Nomi & Brave was inspired by her daughter, Naomi, when they could not find solar system decor that would look good in her pink and floral bedroom. So she set out to create the ""Nomi & Brave"" brand, offering whimiscal illustrations, designs and stories that girls might love and are also STEM related. We want little girls to know from birth, that science is for them too. Emily has a Bachelor's degree in Music and is a member of the worship band, Parallel. She is a homeschooling, stay-at-home-mom; a singer/songwriter and blogger. Her songwriting ability has easily translated to writing stories for children.
