Jane Hanser has her roots as an ESL and remedial writing instructor at the City University of New York, where she taught for many years. It was at CUNY that she developed Easy Writer: Interactive Software for Learners of English. She received her M.Ed. in English Education with a specialty in English as a Second Language through Temple University's Graduate School.
