Raffie Beroukhim is a husband, father and grandfather who lives in Los Angeles, California. Noah's Rhyming Dream - An Animal Adventure was written soon after birth of his first grandchild, Noah. The name, its biblical connection, coupled with the Raffie's love were the inspiration for the story. The book's rhyming sentences and repetitive words make it ideal for beginning readers (preschool and kindergarten); and trace back to Raffie's upbringing in Iran and his love of poetry particularly of the10th century CE, Persian poet, Ferdowsi, and Ferdowsi's epic poem, Shahnameh (the Book of Kings). While all five groups of animals are represented in the book, the animals on the cover, each with their own distinct characteristic - Zebras, for example - are a tribute to Raffie's career, as an entrepreneur and inventor, in the field of biometrics. Family values and healthy hygiene habits of Noah represented in beautiful, colorful illustrations, are a tribute to Raffie's upbringing. Written to celebrate Noah's, and all the other readers' unique talents, the book includes a personal message to Noah from his grandfather, asking him to pursue his dream with passion, trust in its realization and seize it when it finds him!
