Author Information

Barnard Ardglass was born in County Donegal, Ireland, in a village where history, politics, literature, and religion were living, evolving things. There he learned his first lessons on fact and fiction in politics and religious teaching. He is aware that buried in today's fiction we may find some of tomorrow's facts. He learned the old saying ""curiosity killed the cat,"" and knows the importance of balancing exploration of the unknown with appreciation of the known. Friends helped him to see the unity of nature even if much of that unity is still imagined-the imagined life is at least as important as the experienced life.
