Author Information

Mary and Richard Platt are a husband and wife writing team. Richard is the award-winning author of nearly 100 books, including Castle Diary, Double Crossing, Eureka, Incredible Cross Sections, and Pirate Diary, which won a Smarties silver prize and a Blue Peter award. John Kelly is an illustrator and designer of children's books, including Guess Who's Coming for Dinner?, which was short-listed for the 2005 Kate Greenaway Medal. John and Richard previously collaborated on Plagues, Pox and Pestilence.
