Author Information

Joerg Rieger is Distinguished Professor of Theology, Vanderbilt University Divinity School. An internationally recognized scholar and activist, he engages in questions of liberation, theology, and economics, addressing the relation of theology to public life. Dr. Rieger is an elder in the North Texas Conference of The United Methodist Church and is the author of many books. A popular speaker, Dr. Rieger travels extensively, lecturing in churches and universities all over the world.
