She is an author, poet, nature photographer, graphic artist and an expert high-roller slot player. She has been on long term disability for over 20 years with Chronic Lyme Disease. She is also a cancer survivor. Because of her illness she has an appreciation for life few others have. It is probably because they have not been so close to having their life taken from them. She has appeared on TV, radio, and blog talk radio. She has won several awards for her writing. Debbie has been a freelance nature photographer for over 40 years and through her extensive knowledge of the arts, founded Kilday Krafts 32 years ago. She uses her photography skills to help bring awareness to preserving natural landscapes. She is a member of The Connecticut Authors and Publishers Association, (CAPA) and organizes and acts as manager of the CAPA Bookstore at the Big E in the Connecticut Building. She is also a member of The Free Poets Collective, and The New York Turtle and Tortoise Society. Author of, No Limits: How I Beat The Slots, details her five-years as a high-roller slot player at casinos in Connecticut and Las Vegas, winning 3.4 million dollars while playing slot machines.
