Child sexual abuse is preventable, but why do statistics continue to go up. I believe because parents aren't educating their children. I feel this book should be read to every child by their parents, aunts, uncles or grandparents. I was molested by a friend of my family from age 11 until about 17. I did not know how to tell, whom to tell, and what would happen to me or my family if I had told. If I had the information in this book at that time, I would not have lived in fear for so long. Because of the molestation, today I have post-traumatic stress disorder, severe social anxiety, nightmares and take medication. We can't just tell kids not to talk to strangers when most perpetrators are someone the kids know and trust such as parents, relatives, or friends of the family. If you are not part of the solution, then maybe you are the problem.
