He has contributed to over two dozen aviation-related titles over the past 20 years. His specialist area is the history of RAF Tangmere, in Sussex, where No 43 Sqn was based for many years both before and during World War 2. An airbrush artist with years of experience, Chris has become Osprey's principal illustrator of RAF aircraft, having produced the profiles for over a dozen books since 1994. His most recent work includes Aircraft of the Aces 27: ‘Typhoon and Tempest Aces of World War 2’ and Combat Aircraft 14: ‘Halifax Squadrons of World War 2’.
