OverviewNitric oxide is involved in the regulation of the circulation in physiologic and pathophysiological conditions. Evidence indicates that alterations in endothelial production of nitric oxide may be involved in the pathogenesis of central hypertension, pulmonary hypertension, renal disease and coronary vasopastic disorders.
