Reviews

‘This is the bardic volume that distils that Wisdom and dispenses it to a world that has lost its way with death. It’s like a lamp to guide us home.’ -- Kathryn Mannix, author of With the End in Mind ‘As Kevin Toolis has so beautifully written, “accepting yourself as yourself for yourself is death’s most important lesson in life.” In his cleverly written guidebook Nine Rules to Conquer Death we mortals are given permission to do death differently – to experience death as part of life and life as part of death. And by doing so, we embrace our impermanence revealing the gifts of being mortal and living a life worth living for…and dying for.’ -- Shirley Bergin, COO/CMO of TEDMED ‘Nine Rules is a compelling hybrid of lyrical essay and practical self-help book. Read it.’ -- Seamus O’Mahony, author of The Way We Die Now ‘Mind-blowing and thought-provoking. Want to be a better person AND overcome your fear of death? Follow the nine rules.’ -- Rob Bruntink, editor of Pallium
