After more than three decades of instability, conflict and endless atrocities, causing a death toll that is hard to keep track of to this day, without an outcry from the international community manifested by its indifference; infiltration here, humiliation and opprobrium there, the content of this book is an appeal to all Congolese citizen-patriots, devoted and patriotic to their homeland, ready to ensure its defense and good publicity, notwithstanding its minor internal weaknesses. This book awakens the conscience of all Congolese to consider with consideration the security challenges and permanent danger that lie in wait for the DRC as long as it shares its ±10,700 km of borders with its nine neighbors, some of whom have made its instability a livelihood and a matter of national survival.Hence, without fanning the flames of hatred and xenophobia, we believe that the time has come for the great Congo to adopt a strategy of power and deterrence, designed not only to protect itself today, but also to guard against any eventuality in the future.
