Nightmare Town

Overview

Nightmare Town is a dark comedy with urban-fantasy and paranormal twists, some of them not nearly as sinister as advertised. Newlyweds Sabrina and Jeremy Wallace have skipped beaches and champagne for their honeymoon. As devoted dark tourists, they're chasing haunted houses, cursed landmarks, and anything that promises a good scare. Unfortunately, their carefully planned tour of the UK and Ireland's most infamous sites turns out to be a complete dud. Just when they're ready to admit defeat, they hear about Wokenshire; a small town south of London whispered to be the most haunted and cursed place in the country. Locals affectionately call it The Devil's Playground. Eager for something that finally lives up to the hype, Sabrina and Jeremy scrap the rest of their itinerary and settle into Wokenshire for the last two weeks of their honeymoon. But the town has a habit of subverting expectations. Its ghosts don't behave, its curses come with fine print, and the deeper the couple digs, the clearer it becomes that Wokenshire's horrors aren't quite what they imagined. As the supernatural reveals its stranger (and occasionally warmer) side, the cracks in Sabrina and Jeremy's perfect honeymoon begin to show. And while Nightmare Town may not be what it seems, it has a way of forcing visitors to confront truths they'd rather keep buried. After all, some hauntings aren't about fear; And some demons are impossible to outrun. Do you dare visit Nightmare Town?
