Night rider In the not so distant future, Jack Burrows, a champion racing driver, dies only seconds after his wife, she in a tragic road accident, and Jack dies on the racetrack in his native Australia, leaving behind their son Jack. 17 years later, in Wallaby Creek Township, Australia. Young Jack is found guilty of racing his project car at 185 MPH on a public road in the dead of night, although Jack's uncle, a racing mechanic, has a secret agreement with members of the local police to use the deserted motorway at night. With the new police Commander Johnson coming into town, he is on a mission to uncover any secrets, and he soon finds Jack Burrow's and his illegal racing. Up in court, Jack loses his driving license, but the publicity comes to the head of Jack's father's old racing team, Williams Super GT racing. Jack is asked by Mr Williams to fill the seat of their new racing car. Jack's dreams come true; Jack seeks to emulate his father's successes on the racetrack with his uncle by his side and Penny Williams, his new love. Jack's rise to fame doesn't come easy, and Chuck Norton, last year's Super GT winner, won't give the new boy any chances, and they are neck and neck in a bitter fight right up to the last race of the season. The race turns out to be a race that will never be forgotten.
