OverviewNight rider In the not so distant future, Jack Burrows, a champion racing driver, dies only seconds after his wife, she in a tragic road accident, and Jack dies on the racetrack in his native Australia, leaving behind their son Jack. 17 years later, in Wallaby Creek Township, Australia. Young Jack is found guilty of racing his project car at 185 MPH on a public road in the dead of night, although Jack's uncle, a racing mechanic, has a secret agreement with members of the local police to use the deserted motorway at night. With the new police Commander Johnson coming into town, he is on a mission to uncover any secrets, and he soon finds Jack Burrow's and his illegal racing.
