A play by Leslie Tanner. A modern family gets swept into the dreams of their teenage girl, Julia. She's a typical teenage girl feeling overwhelmed by her life: new girl in town, boyfriend troubles, annoying parents, school stress, and just feeling ugly and socially awkward. When she falls asleep after an evening of teenage troubles, Morpheus appears to shape her dreams. He summons the Muses to weave Julia's dreams, and upon her awakening, Julia finds inspiration to face her teenage troubles. Cast Size: 30+ flexible roles with doubling possible. Author Information

Leslie Tanner teaches science and drama at Henley Middle School in Charlottesville, Virginia. She grew up in Mendham, New Jersey, and received a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Davidson College, in North Carolina. In her early career Leslie worked at the Goodspeed Opera House in Conneticut learning scenic design and the backstage world. She also has directed plays and taught theatre classes at the All Children's Theatre in Providence, Rhode Island and Spectrum Arts Camp in Charlottesville, Virginia. Leslie is also an ebook author of a children's book, Power of the Sun.
