Marty Dodson is a Nashville-based songwriter who has written eleven #1 songs and had more than 130 songs recorded in Pop, Country, Rock, Bluegrass, Americana, Christian, K-Pop and J-Pop genres.His songs have been recorded by Joe Cocker, Kenny Chesney, Carrie Underwood, Billy Currington and Blake Shelton, to name a few.Marty is the co-author of Song Building: Mastering Lyric Writing (SongTown Press). Bill O'Hanlon is the author of over 40 books, one of which,Do One Thing Different, was featured on Oprah. He lives part time in Nashville and is a songwriter with over 200 cuts and many sync placements. He is the co-author, with Marty Dodson, of Song Building, The Songwriter's Guide to Mastering Co-Writing with Marty Dodson and Clay Mills, Mastering Melody Writing with Clay Mills, and The Songwriter's Guide to Protecting Your Songs and Collecting Your Money with Nancy Deckant and Leslie Bowe.
