Overview

This series of colour catalogues lists and prices the stamps of Commonwealth countries from SG1 to date to the level of detail familiar to users of the 'Part 1' British Commonwealth listings. The New Zealand volume includes booklets, express delivery stamps, postage dues, officials, Life Insurance Department stamps and postal fiscals for New Zealand, plus the Antarctic Expeditions and the dependencies of Tokelau and Ross Dependency. The new second edition also lists the pre-independence issues of former New Zealand dependencies; Cook Islands (including Aitutaki and Penrhyn), Nive and Samoa, and an up-to-date design index has been provided for New Zealand itself. The listings of issues upto 1952 have been extracted from the forthcoming Stanley Gibbons 2007 Commonwealth and British Empire Stamps 1840-1952. Later issues have been revised and updated specially for this volume.
