Her expertise includes Instructional Multimedia, Information Technology, Computational Thinking, and Educational Technology. She has published widely in Scopus, Web of Science, and MyCite on multimedia learning, computational thinking, and digital courseware. Her research integrates cognitive multimedia principles with technology-enhanced education, focusing on reducing cognitive load for digital natives. She has also authored book chapters and co-authored books on web application development and human development. She contributes as a reviewer, editorial member, and internal examiner, and has received awards for innovations in instructional multimedia and cybersecurity. She continues advancing educational technology through impactful teaching and research. Syed Zulkarnain Syed Idrus is an Associate Professor at Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), Malaysia. He began his tertiary education in 1995 at North Trafford College (NTC), Manchester, United Kingdom and received a Business & Technology Education Council (BTEC) National Diploma (ND) in Information Technology Applications in 1997. He then pursued for the bachelor degree course at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), Manchester, United Kingdom and obtained a B.Sc. degree in Information Systems Engineering in 2001. After working for a short stint in private colleges, he pursued for his M.Sc. degree in the field of Computer Engineering and graduated in 2008 from the Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), Malaysia. Finally, he completed his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Applications at the Université de Caen Basse-Normandie, Caen, France in 2015 specialising in computer security. To-date, he has written and co-authored over 250 articles including journal and conference papers with an h-index of 22, published 8 books and 2 patents. His expertise in computer security is notably well accepted, where he has been invited to sit as one of the editorial board members in numerous International Journals. For his continuous contributions and recognitions in research as well as career, he had been awarded with several prestigious awards both at national and international levels. Mohd Noorulfakhri Yaacob , a Senior Lecturer at Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), is a renowned expert in information technology, system development, and biometric research. Born on September 1, 1981, in Malaysia, he holds a Ph.D. in Communication and Information Technology from UniMAP (2021), a Master’s in Information Technology from Universiti Utara Malaysia (2009), and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (2003). With over 20 years of experience, Noorulfakhri has contributed significantly to system development, data center management, and national-level ICT projects. He has led the development of systems for the Ministry of Higher Education, including SUKIPT and ASEAN University Games. His research focuses on biometric authentication, particularly keystroke dynamics, with numerous publications in prestigious journals. A recipient of the I-RIA 2019 Silver Medal, Noorulfakhri is also a certified Professional Technologist (Ts.) and holds multiple IT certifications.
