Karwowski is a partner with the West Orange, NJ firm of Trenk, DiPasquale, Webster, Della Fera & Sodono, P.C. Henry M. Karwowski concentrates his practice in the areas of bankruptcy, corporate restructuring, debtor/creditor rights, commercial litigation, and business law. Mr. Karwowski is a Contributing Editor to the American Bankruptcy Institute Journal, the leading bankruptcy publication in the country, for which he has written articles since 2003. In addition, he is a Contributing Author of the New Jersey Bankruptcy Manual (2nd Edition, 2006, ICLE); he wrote the chapter entitled Matrimonial Issues and co-wrote the chapter entitled Retention and Compensation. Finally, he has authored articles for publications such as The Bankruptcy Strategist, New Jersey Lawyer, The New Jersey Law Journal, and The Essex County Bar Foundation Chronicle. Since 2002, Mr. Karwowski has served as an adjunct professor at Seton Hall University School of Law, at which he has taught Business Associations, among other courses. In 2006, 2007, and 2008, he was nominated for the annual Adjunct Professor of the Year Award. Further, Mr. Karwowski has served as a panelist at the Annual New Jersey State Bar Association Bankruptcy Bench-Bar Conference and as a lecturer for the New Jersey Institute For Continuing Legal Education. In 2003, Mr. Karwowski successfully argued the matter of In re Bernea Smith before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. The panel included former Third Circuit and current Supreme Court Justice Samuel A. Alito, Jr. In 1998-99, Mr. Karwowski served as a law clerk for the Honorable Rosemary Gambardella, Chief Judge, in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey. In 1997, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Rosemary Gambardella, the Honorable William F. Tuohey, and the Honorable Novalyn Winfield in the same court.
