OverviewIn clinical use since the early part of the century, dipyrone is now established as one of the most widely used analgesics, including its use for severe pain. Recent advances in our understanding of the mode of action of this drug indicate that its clinical applicability may be extended to indications not commonly associated with non-narcotic analgesics.
