Author Information

Jezreel Mejia Miranda holds a PhD in Computer Science. He is a researcher in Computer Science at CIMAT, Unit of Zacatecas, México. His research field is Software Engineering. Dr. Mejía is a member of the National Researcher System by CONAHCYT. His main research field is process improvement, multi-model environment, project management, acquisition and outsourcing process, agile methodologies, and Security Information Systems. He has published several technical papers on software engineering field. He has been guest editor of several JCR-indexed journals. He has participated in several Program Committee Member on Conferences and international Journals. Mirna Ariadna Muñoz Mata is a PhD in Computer Languages, Informatics Systems and Software Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid with an European PhD. She has held a postdoctoral stay at the University of Carlos III of Madrid, Spain. She is working as a researcher at the Software Engineering Unit of the CIMAT, Zacatecas, México. She is member of the Software Engineering research group at CIMAT. She has participated in the Spanish Translation of CMMI-Dev model v1.2 and v1.3. Her research field is Software Engineering with research interest is on software process improvements focusing on the human factor, software process improvements using multi-model environments, gamification in Software Engineering, the implementation of quality model and standards, and integration of high effective teams. Álvaro Rocha holds the title of Honorary Professor, and holds a D.Sc. in Information Science, Ph.D. in Information Systems and Technologies, M.Sc. in Information Management, and BCs in Computer Science. He is a Professor of Information Systems at the University of Lisbon - ISEG, researcher at the ISEG Centre for Advanced Research in Management, and a collaborator researcher at both LIACC Laboratory and CINTESIS Research. His research are maturity models, information systems quality, online service quality, requirements engineering, intelligent information systems, e-Government, e-Health, and information technologies in education. He is also Vice-Chair of the IEEE Portugal Section Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society Chapter, and Editor-in-Chief of both journals: JISEM and RISTI.  Francisco Javier Espinosa-Faller is currently the General Director of Research at Marista University of Mérida, and Professor at the School of Engineering in México. He holds a Ph.D. and a M.Sc. In Applied Physics from Cinvestav, Mexico and B.Sc. in Computer Systems Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Mérida. He was a Graduate Research Assistant at the Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Los Alamos National Laboratory. He is a Member of the National Research System, CONAHCYT, and the Mexican Academy of Sciences. His research is in the structural characterization of materials, thin films, and sensors.  Joel Antonio Trejo-Sanchez is a CONAHCYT Researcher for Mexico assigned to the CIMAT at Mérida since 2016. His research lines focus on theoretical computer science, particularly on the design of algorithms for combinatorial optimization problems, distributed computing, and parallel computing. Joel holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Center for Scientific Research and Higher Education at Ensenada in 2014. He received his M. in C. in Electrical Engineering from CINVESTAV and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the Autonomous University of Yucatán. His results have been published in journals: Journal of Parallel and Distributed Computing, Optimization Letters, and Theoretical Computer Sciences. Since 2015. He has been a member of the National System of Researchers.
