Dr. Irini K. Zerva is a Postdoctoral Researcher and Teaching and Research Associate at the Faculty of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where her work focuses on neurodevelopmental disorders from a lifespan and interdisciplinary medical perspective. She also serves as a Lecturer at Neapolis University Pafos and as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Nicosia in the fields of Psychology and Special Education. Dr. Zerva specializes in Neurodevelopmental Disorders, with particular expertise in Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Her research and clinical work are grounded in the clinical continuum model of neurodevelopmental conditions, integrating medical, cognitive, linguistic, and psychosocial parameters in diagnostic assessment and intervention planning. Her scholarly focus includes metalinguistic skills, neurocognitive mechanisms underlying learning, and the interaction between medical history and developmental trajectories. She has authored and co-authored scientific articles and book chapters in the areas of neurodevelopmental disorders, language development, and learning disabilities.
