Author Information

Robert Perrucci is Professor of Sociology, Department of Sociology and Anthropology, Purdue University. He has published numerous articles and ten books on topics related to the interplay of technology and society, work and occupations, and complex organizations. He is co-author of Plant Closings: International Context and Social Costs (Aldine de Gruyter, 1988), and is currently researching the impact on regional economies of Japanese-owned automobile manufacturing plants in the U.S.
