The language & vocabulary the author uses in the book are like literary candy. There are several surprises as well that keep the reader on the alert. Young adult readers and not so young readers will enjoy this fantastical journey.

My education in fantasy writing comes from an M.A. from McMaster University, Canada, with a thesis specialty in the fairy tale. As an artist, I have had formal training from Sheridan School of Fine Arts, and have operated my own fine art business for more than twenty-five years. NANCY GUILD BENDALL writes, paints and sculpts from her studio at the edge of a small village near Toronto Canada, looking all the while for fairies at the top of her garden.
