Overview

The clash to mold the political leaders of the future has broken out in Washington D.C. The target: two orphans. Judges against Judges. Nesterbeck is the coming-of-age story about two foreign orphan sisters growing up in the District, and the struggle to control them between a conservative leader of the judiciary (the haughty offspring of an aristocratic saga of judges), and a group of left-wing outstanding jurists, a dozen of aged women firmly committed to Social Justice, living in a collectivist colony. It deals with the learning of Power, the looking for an identity and the future of Law, Justice and Language, all against the backdrop of the judicial system set out in the District, its courthouses: the local Moultrie, the federal Prettyman, and SCOTUS.
