He later moved to Australia to pursue higher education, earning an MPhil from Western Sydney University with a thesis on the role of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) in Nepal's peace process. He is completing his PhD in International Relations at the same university, focusing on Nepal's geopolitical relationships with India and China amidst their regional rivalry. Mr. Thapa has presented his research works at international conferences in Singapore, Bali, Hawaii, Los Angeles, and Washington, DC. He has published numerous scholarly articles, book chapters, and books on topics related to politics, international relations, and peace processes. Dr. Drew Cottle is an adjunct senior lecturer in the School of Humanities and Communication Arts at Western Sydney University, specialising in History and Politics. He has published extensively in the areas of international relations, political economy, and social movements, contributing scholarly articles, book chapters, and full-length works to the academic discourse. Ms. Pramila Bakhati is a PhD candidate at Lumbini Buddhist University in Nepal.
