He obtained his PhD (Plant Nematology) in 1988, post doc. at the North Carolina State University and California Department of Food and Agriculture, U.S.A. in 1988-89 and worked at the Commonwealth Institute of Parasitology, U.K. Dr Khan has vast experience of teaching and research in plant protection, and has over 300 research publications and review articles, 10 books, 2 patents and 6 research projects to his credit.
