Overview

Nelly Bly is undertaking her famous trip around the World with the intention of beating the fictive character Plileas Fogg's record by 5 days, when she's contacted by Jules Verne and asked to make a short detour to Amiens to visit him. She can't refuse the honor of meeting the great man, and of course she takes the time to see him, sacrificing her sleep for two days to do so without causing a delay in her timetable. What she doesn't know is that this is not just a simple question of making acquaintance; it's a matter of life and death for a man who has ventured through a time portal and is trapped in the 13th century. Jules is counting on her help, and being informed on her adventurous nature (she had had herself interned for 10 days in a mental health asylum on Blackwell's Island to write an investigative article) he's certain that she will not refuse. She makes the trip back into time after being reassured that she will exit at the same moment she enters and will be able to continue her trip without losing any time. Things don't go smoothly and she finds herself trapped in 13th century Greece with the man she's been sent to save...
